Small maintenance issues around an entrance can affect both the appearance and everyday operation of a property. At a strata titled townhouse in Homebush, NSW, High Demand Restoration completed several repairs to the front entrance and flyscreen door areas, including the door closer, weather seal, security screen door lock and damaged skirting trim.

The front entrance required attention across several areas. Works included replacing the damaged flyscreen door closer, installing a new weather seal beneath the entrance door, repairing damaged skirting trim and rectifying the security screen door lock.

The damaged flyscreen door closer was replaced and tested following installation. Once completed, the door was confirmed to be opening and closing correctly. The before and after photos clearly show the old closer and its replacement.

A new brush weather seal was installed along the bottom of the entrance door and adjusted to reduce the gap beneath the door. The security screen door lock was also removed, lubricated and reattached, restoring normal operation.

Damaged skirting trim beside the entrance was repaired, primed and painted to match the surrounding finishes as closely as possible.

The before and after photos show the damaged section and the completed repair.

With several smaller repairs completed during the same job, the front entrance was left with improved functionality and presentation. The flyscreen door closer, entrance door weather seal and security screen door lock were all addressed, while the damaged skirting trim was repaired and finished. All completed works were tested to confirm satisfactory functionality
